Square Reinforcing Mesh

This general purpose mesh is used for reinforcing flat concrete elements such as flooring, footpaths slabs and walls etc. Square mesh is manufactured from L grade ribbed wires (D500L) that are welded together with equal spacing in both directions to form square apertures. Square mesh sheets are supplied in 6m x 2.4m with side lap wires to minimize the laps between sheets on large areas.
Rectangular Reinforcing Mesh

This mesh is used for reinforcing thin concrete elements such as floor slabs and walls where more strength is required in one direction than the other. Rectangular mesh is manufactured from L grade ribbed wires (D500L) that are welded together with different spacing in each direction to form rectangular apertures.

Rectangular mesh is produced in standard 6m x 2.4m size sheets.

 
Trench Reinforcing Mesh

Trench Mesh is made specifically for use in residential footing trenches.

Made from grade D500L ribbed reinforcing wire, Trench Mesh is made using a variety of longitudinal wires up to 12mm diameter. Cross wires are at 300mm centre. Sheets are made in 6m lengths, with widths varying from depending on the number of longitudinal wires. The longitudinal wires are at 100mm centre.

UAN SpecialMesh® Custom Mesh Products

We offer engineered mesh solutions for commercial developments such as offices, public buildings, retail and hospitality facilities. Where a structure has already been detailed for conventional reinforcing, we can re-engineer it to suit the use of engineered mesh. Because it is a custom-designed, project-specific solution, engineered mesh can very closely match engineering intent.

As well as reducing waste, it significantly reduces on-site steel fixing and associated costs, while speeding construction and floor cycles.
